Welcome to the Friend Group Olympics homepage. This will be the home for all information pertaining
to the 2024 games, hosted at Grinnell College. The schedule of events is planned to take place throughout the spring
semester in 2024. The final event will take place sometime in late April or early May, at which point results will be
finalized and a champion will be announced and celebrated at the closing ceremony. This website will continue to post
updates as more information becomes available, so check back later for more information.
This final update completes the competition. In total, 5 events were played,
and there were many great performances. Final results can be found on the standings page, thanks
for a great time.
May 3rd
It's been a minute, but welcome back. I am excited to announce the details for the final event which can be found in
the navigation bar at the top. Volleyball will be played tomorrow morning.
March 3rd
Updated to reflect pickleball tournament.
February 29th
Added information on pickleball and updated results to include pool results from last Sunday.
February 22nd
Pool tab was added with bracket and additional information.
February 20th
Pool was added to the schedule. Check back on Friday or Saturday to look at the event
page and bracket.
February 4th
An updated standings was posted, as well as recaps of the first two events.

The logo was actually added to the top of home screen and the badminton bracket was updated.
February 1st
New pages for the confirmed events have been added with information. Check those out if you want to know more about upcoming events.
January 31
Badminton is offially on the schedule for Friday, February 2nd.
January 29
Among Us was added to the schedule with a confirmed time. Badminton has also been added, although no date is official yet.
January 24
The time for the opening ceremony has been pushed up from 7:00 pm to 6:00pm. Be there on time for some great pizza and ranch.
January 8
Hello, I hope you are having a great winter break and final grades were nice to all of you. Unfortunately, there are
only two weeks until classes start back up. The good news is that means we are getting closer to the start of the
Olympics. This update includes the announced time of the opening ceremony, which will take place January 26th at
7pm. Pizza will hopefully be provided. It also includes five confirmed events, which can be found on the new events tab at the top of the navigation
bar. Enjoy the next two weeks!

Merry Christmas! The website has launched as we are four weeks out from the start of spring semester. The first order of
business for all visitors of this webpage is to complete the survey by January 2nd, which can be found on the
survey page. After that, more updates will be posted with the time of the
opening ceremony and the first couple of events added to the schedule.
